With almost £14, 000 worth of receipts filling the history folder of this 166 (and many of those coming courtesy of widely respected Alfa Romeo specialists like Autolusso and Jamie Porter) this is not your usual 166!
It's a 3. 0 V6 Sportronic automatic, so offers the ultimate in refined, luxury cruising (with 220bhp on tap and that glorious Alfa V6 soundtrack, that is!) and is one of only around 110 such models left on UK roads. Finished in 130 Alfa Red with black Momo leather upholstery swaddling the interior, this is actually a pretty rare colour combination for the the executive 166. It certainly wears it well, however. It has very recently been fully resprayed, the wheels refurbished and treated to some intensive cosmetic pampering; it looks absolutely fantastic.
The current mileage is 95, 388 and the timing belt, water pump and all ancillaries were last replaced by Autolusso 5k miles ago. In fact, in the last 10k miles alone it has been treated to new wishbones, exhaust (it boasts a Powerflow system which makes the Busso bellow even more addictive!), shock absorbers, a heater fan, a battery, a genuine Valeo headlight, two front lower arms, a Powerflex engine mount, the rear suspension has been rebuilt... and we could go on!
We renewed the MoT just last month and the new certificate has not so much as a single advisory notice, running through to 04/ 07/ 2018. It is completely HPI clear and, as the figures spent on maintenance suggest, it has clearly been cherished by its previous owners.
Gorgeous to look at, in gleaming order inside and out and even better to drive, this surely has to be amongst the best 166's out there?
