EXTERIOR
Finished in a pristine coat of Individual Santorini blue, this convertible looks every bit the part top down or up. The paintwork is in excellent condition with only a few stone chips to report. Detailing prep in house ensure the fantastic colour palette on this limited edition remains every bit as special as the car itself.
The 500 model wears Shadowline exterior trim and black alloy wheels and the grille surround, side gills with tailpipes finished in dark chrome, a perfect contrast to the bright blue coat of paint.
The well designed folding hard top is easy to use and with just one button neatly stowed effortlessly providing both the benefits of a full coupe or convertible cruising when the weather allows.
INTERIOR
The interior provides a contrast to the striking exterior paint. Finished in beautifully trimmed Novillo black leather with Tobago Blue blue stitching, it remains in superb order.
Titan Shadow trim adorns the dash and door cards adding to the luxurious feel with the stitched leather. Heated seats and the superb Harman Kardon surround sound system (both rare options on the limited edition 500) cruise control, USB and phone connectivity, Navigation and climate control provide all the comforts of a cruiser. The programmable M button can transform the car into a formidable driving machine allowing pre programming of the DCT and traction control settings whilst tightening throttle response.
BMWs convertible features a special leather surface for the seats that reflects sunlight reducing the tendency for the seats to become uncomfortably hot with the top down.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The high revving V8 engine barks into life with a purposeful roar and quietens down after the warm up phase. Alfresco motoring allows for a more audible experience for the glorious V8 soundtrack. Satisfying blips from down changes from the fantastic DCT transmission are standard and become addictive. The engine is a masterpiece of engineering and sure to go down as one of the great high revving V8s
The 7 speed DCT gearbox is superb and a huge step on from BMW last SMG setup providing both smooth fully automatic function or manual changes.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The M Alloy double spoke 220 wheels are finished in high gloss black on the Limited Edition 500 model. These along with the gloss black shadow line trim provide a striking contrast against the mesmerising Santorini blue paintwork.
The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Supersport tyres all round with good tread levels.
Brakes are sharp with plenty of material left on both pad and disc.
HISTORY
First registered on 13/ 09/ 2013 this Limited edition M3 convertible has been well looked after with full BMW main dealer history throughout.
