Here we have a restoration project E-type. For anyone wanting to get on the first rung of E-type ownership, this is for you. The car is a Series 2 FHC 4. 2 litre with a manual gearbox and is LHD. It has come in from Canada over the 2017-18 Xmas holiday, and can be viewed after the 3rd January 2018. All taxes are paid and NOVA is applied for.
The beauty of the E-type for restorers is that almost every part down the the last nut and bolt are readily available. This car needs work, but is a worthwhile project, especially because of the scarceness on the Fixed Head Coupe (FHC) variant of E-type. There is substantial welding work required, but the car is too good to break for spares.
We make no promises about this car, but it is priced to sell. The photos are temporary and will be replaced with better images shortly. There is no warranty on this E-type. The Jaguar can't be driven, so will need trailering away. Roman Garages can arrange this for you at additional cost.
