Rare indeed is this late in the run August 1994 Volvo 480ES Auto. Volvo say 76000 cars across the 480 range were built during their 9 years of production, so with only 18 of this actual model left registered on UK roads they are an unusual site, one that is now sought after by collectors and Volvo lovers alike.
Fitted with the later 2 litre engine this car has survived very well, not even the normal rusty arches affecting it. The bright red paint has a deep shine and no damage past a slight crease in the drivers wing which looks like the wind caught the door at some point. Inside is very good with even the Information Center working although the stereo has been removed.
Mechanically the engine starts easily and the gear box selects smootly. Somebody has fitted a performance air filter and exhaust which does sound very "sporty" if you like that sort of thing.
There is a partial service history, in the original owners wallet along with its others books and the MOT is through to January 2019.
