Full matching numbers and a mileage of only 38, 000 from new with stacks of work & service receipts throughout it's Stateside life as well as here in the UK. Imported in 2014 then put into a full body off, bare chassis restoration with a marque specialist. This 72 Vette is just beautiful, highly detailed engine/ engine bay and detailed underneath with many new parts and copious amounts of powder coating. The chassis was resprayed to an as new state.
BODY OFF. To say it was stripped to component form is an under-statement, though done 5 years ago when on the ramp it is almost like inspecting a new car just off the line! The full braking system, all suspension throughout, all fuel & brake lines, the full park brake system, both trailing arms, all power-steering, all replaced new when restored. A complete new stainless Borla Exhaust front to rear from the correct manifolds to the correct oblong outlets. Absolutely everything that could be replaced certainly was, the attention to detail is fantastic.
INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR. As well as being painted in its original colour of Targa metallic Blue. Nearly all chrome has been replaced new, or where possible the originals kept and restored. New mirrors, rear number plate surround, all emblems, the radio mast, outside door handles, rear light lenses, marker lights, the complete headlight / wiper deck lid vacuum system. The fuel tank was replaced new The interior had the same treatment with new seat skins, seat backs, consoles, carpets, door cards, sill plates, rocker panels, plus of course every conceivable weather-seal on the whole car, even the pop-out rear window seal. The original factory radio is still in place. Even the chrome rack, the over-mats & the centre arm-rest were all replaced new when restored.

NUMBER MATCHING. This is a completely code & number matching C3 throughout. The paint is Code 979 Targa Blue with the correct Code 412 Blue Vinyl interior.
A new MOT has just been applied and the car drives very well indeed . The exhaust note thru the stainless exhaust and Borla mufflers is perfect.
This is a start first time C3 to drive, to a show and be proud of, lovely, just lovely. Been part of a private collection in recent years and used only occasionally in the sunshine. Previous owner now reducing his collection.
