1935 Daimler Light 15 Mulliner Coupe.

Nut & bolt restored to Concours condition. This little Daimler was a labor of love restored over several years to Concours condition. This included a full mechanical rebuild in addition to bodywork, interior & paint. The car has a smooth 6 cylinder engine enlarged to 2003cc for the 1935 model year. The engine is linked to a Wilson Pre Selector gearbox. The car performs surprisingly well easily able to run in modern B road traffic.
The car is a charming little gem & incredibly rare. It is finished in metallic dark grey paint along with black wings & a black rexine leathercloth boot covering & roof covering. Faux pram irons adorn the sides of the roof. The interior has been impeccably executed in grey leather with all the interior woodwork having been removed & refinished. Usefully an oil pressure gauge & temperature gauge have been installed on the dashboard. The car abounds with delightful period details wherever one looks.
Available to view in Belgium, the car has been part of a small collection & is now being sold due to the advanced age of the current owner. The car is in simply impeccable condition & is a credit to its owner. It brings smiles from bystanders wherever it goes.
