Reliable and economical 2. 1TD engine (42 mpg average) with Lucas EPIC electronic 'drive by wire' diesel injection system with cruise control, headlamp dipped beam conversion to HID system, recent new turbo intercooler, original radio cassette with 6CD autochanger and 2 cassettes, rear alloy suspension arms drilled tapped and plugged for oiling swing arm bearings, half full tank of fuel, 3 window regulators fitted with stainless steel cables, tow bar fitted but never used, Clean interior. NEGATIVES:
Some areas of green metallic paintwork (eg roof) in poor condition due to lacquer peel - requires partial respray, windscreen scuttle trim is cracked, rear spoiler damaged (spare included), N/ S rear door central lock fault ( new spare included), security alarm battery failing, rust at base of drivers door (sound spare included). front drivers door regulator requires wire cable repair. Rear subframe on nearside will require welding repair and maybe also front offside sill.
A future classic too good to scrap or break despite faults, good potential for restoration by enthusiast.
