EXTERIOR
The Honeysuckle exterior paint is in show condition on this Dolomite, as one would expect having undergone a restoration. The paintwork is in beautiful order and has a glass-like shine and clarity throughout. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches. All light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. The vehicle throughout is a completely solid example and the photos in the link provided show this.
INTERIOR
The Chestnut Cloth is in lovely original condition throughout, with minimal wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are in great condition. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This Dolomite 1850 is powered by the 1, 854cc unit, mated to the four-speed manual gearbox. The car drives and performs as one should expect it to and there are no unusual knocks, or noises to be heard. The clutch and gearbox work as they should and as one would expect with this mileage.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 13-inch alloy wheels are in as pristine condition, having been completely refurbished when we restored this vehicle and are shod in a set of tyres all with good tread.
HISTORY
This Dolomite 1850 was first registered in October 1975 and comes with the original service book that has been stamped and another service book with some additional stamps. A large file is present, with receipts and invoices from over the years. It is believed that the mileage is correct, backed up by the services and previous MOTs. This example also retains the original retail vehicle order form and book pack. I cannot stress highly enough how much this car needs to be seen in person to appreciate the time and effort gone into this restoration. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
