First registered in July 2007, this 987 manual was supplied to its first owner by Porsche Centre West London. It has since been maintained using Official Porsche Centres only. We have recently had the car fully serviced by Porsche Centre Colchester including brake fluid and auxiliary belt changes.
The car has been garaged since new which is evidenced by the roof and paintwork being un-weathered – it’s incredible for any 10 year old car! It has seen dry use only having been a cherished second car; the fastidious owner also made a point of not getting the blue mohair roof wet, even when washing the rest of the car….. even the INSIDES of the wheels have been routinely cleaned!
The interior also reflects the very low mileage with unmarked blue leather, heated seats. Other options extras include rear parking sensors, aircon, BOSE Surround Sound, 6 CD changer, sat-nav and phone prep.
The toolkit, tyre inflator (both unused) and full book pack accompany the car, plus we also have every invoice from new including the original order sheet.
We’ve been truly blown away by this car, not least by how tight it feels – the engine pulls extremely well, the gearbox is slick and all of the controls still have that positive ‘new’ feel. There are no squeaks, rattles or unnerving noises.
The drive is outstanding for a car at any price point – there is the inherent balance of a mid engine sports car produced by Porsche and it really does have that flat 6 ‘howl’. Just about every Boxster press review has lauded the driving experience since launch in ’97 and we fully appreciate why.
This car wants for nothing and is ready to enjoy for the summer!
