EQUIPMENT
14-inch alloy wheels, power steering, electric windows, electric mirrors, central locking, cassette/ radio, tool kit, spare key.
EXTERIOR
The exterior Granite Silver paintwork is in beautiful condition throughout. The car still has a beautiful shine to the lacquer and the paintwork has a lovely depth of shine. The car polishes up beautifully and has a lovely lustre throughout. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches and is in excellent condition for the age. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance. The black hood is believed to be original and does not leak and is in great condition throughout. This example still features the original glass all around the vehicle with it being etched by BMW.
INTERIOR
The interior is in a completely unworn condition, with minimal wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are all free of wear and have aged very well. The interior is in beautiful original condition and only suffers the slightest of wear from the sunlight. The seat bolsters are in equally as good and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found. –A common weakness on E30s.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E30 is powered by the 1. 8-litre four-cylinder unit, mated to the automatic gearbox. The engine and gearbox work seamlessly together, and the car idles very quietly and starts crisply and smoothly. The car drives beautifully and keeps up well with modern traffic. Cruising around with the roof down makes this car a completely different experience and this E30 does this particularly well. The engine bay is wonderfully original, with a fresh appearance throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 14-inch alloy wheels are in great condition and are shod in tyres all with good tread.
HISTORY
This E30 318i Cabriolet was first registered in August 1991 and has a fully stamped service history. The car comes with the original service book that is all stamped up and has a folder with some receipts. This car was purchased by a local doctor who is a regular customer and has only done a few hundred miles since purchase in April 2015! This car has therefore been maintained properly and this is evident in person. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads. Viewing is highly recommended for this example as there cannot be many E30 Cabriolets with this low mileage or originality left.
