Porsche 356 SC / 1600 * Note 1 * MARKET VALUE 125000€ According to the Porsche factory delivery note, this 356 SC Coupe was built in July 1964.
The body was manufactured by the supplier Reutter, Zuffenhausen.
The vehicle was first delivered to the Raffay dealership in Hamburg on 30 June 1964.
The name of the first owner could not be determined.
The first registration took place in Germany.
After 13 years, the Porsche SC travelled across the ocean to the USA - California.
From there it was delivered back to Germany in 2007.
On 22 October 2008, the penultimate owner purchased the vehicle and subsequently commissioned an extensive, faithful restoration.
The vehicle was dismantled and restored regardless of the cost: Bodywork, the entire technology, engine, gearbox, electronics, chassis and interior.
The restoration was completed in January 2010 and a professional appraisal resulted in a grade of 1. Extensive documentation, photos etc. are available.
The re-registration took place on 29 January 2010. For reasons of age, the vehicle was sold to the current owner and seller in March 2024! Interesting facts about the 356 SC model: The vehicle was produced from 1963 - 1965.
It is the last model of the 356 series to be built and was replaced by the 912 and 911 series from 1964. Only 3165 units of the 356 SC were produced.
Compared to its predecessor model, the 356 SC was thoroughly revised and improved in many important respects. The engine was increased to 95 hp. The cylinder liners were fitted with aluminium cooling fins. The manual gearbox is fully synchronised. The engine is more powerful and efficient across the entire rev range and, above all, more elastic. The vehicle was fitted with an ATE disc brake system as standard. In addition to the pre-installed engine improvements, further improvements have been made.
