Austin 7 Ruby
Owned by Joan Armatrading for over 10 years, It has now been with the current owner for over 5 years.
This incredibly original 7 has been well looked after and always been garaged. The engine was rebuilt a couple of years ago and has been well maintained since.
The interior is in very nice condition as you can see,
There is lots of service history with the car and many receipts, Recent work includes:
New sills on the Half shafts when rear axel was rebuilt.
Engine Rebuild: new pistons, new block, new gaskets etc
Fuel tank cleaned out
New brake pads
New power cable
Spare wheel was rebuilt
It was given a thorough looking over by one of the guys at the Austin 7 club (He is an Austin 7 specialist and is well known for his quality of work) He repaired anything that needed doing, gave the car a full service, Greased joints etc and did any preventative work required.
This lovely Austin is all up together and looking for a new home… Once owned by Joan Armatrading and used by her… That’s an amazing added bit of celebrity history…. Super rare car, priced sensible.
