TSM 668 was first registered on the 1st June 1956. This split screen Morris Minor spent its first four years in Carlisle before moving to Dumfries for thirteen years. The Morris then moved back to the North West of England (Kendal) before moving over to Wales in the late 1970's. Paperwork suggests the Morris was taken off the road in the late 1970's and photographs show the Morris barn stored in need of restoration work. The last MOT before many years off the road records the mileage at 51, 924 in 1976 and the car was not back on the road until 2004 having had a comprehensive and detailed restoration.
The history file contains photographs of the restoration which has been carried out to a very high standard. The body today is still in excellent shape and it's nice to see the beautiful original seats still with the car. We also have a record of the engine being completely overhauled circa 2014. Also, in its history file are the original buff and green logbook as well as lots of old MoT'??s, tax discs, and receipts for work carried out over the years.
She'??s in lovely condition and although not required will have a fresh MoT before sale.
You may notice from the photographs that she has been upgraded with later front and rear lights/ indicators, we have the original lights and intend to re fit these as soon as possible, the Semiphors are now in full working order which I think is the way she should be (as shown in the last photo)
