Classic icon restored in 2015. Finished in almond green this 1969 mini is a very elegant example of this iconic model . The bodywork is in impressive condition with a deep, even shine. The interior is in excellent original condition, except to note 2 slight dents to the headliner. The passenger seat has recently been replaced. The engine purrs well, the on-board instrumentation and electrical equipment work normally. Has benefited from recent expenses: oil change, replacement of filters, radiator hose, ignition wiring harness, ignition head, starter solenoid, carburettor float, and fitting of a protective plate for the ignition (essential in wet weather). Technical inspection favourable on 13 / 03 / 2023, valid in France for 5 years as the registration document is a collector's item. In Italy mini t cars remain confidential. They are rarer and have the reputation of being better built than their British counterparts. 3, 620 were produced up to 1969, compared with 99, 000 in the UK. They were all factory-tested, compared with 1 in 10 in the UK. A genuine estate car, it had the advantage of a little more space than the 2-door version and, above all, "So British" charm.
