A 1963 AC Cobra 289, sold new to Ford Special Vehicles via Performance Motors, St Helier on the 9th September 1963, then to Eric James of Gerrards Cross in 1968 and latterly to former sportscar racer Cliff Davis in 1970.

Fitted with a magnesium competition rear differential and Borg Warner T10 gearbox in period. Chassis # COB6003 period documentation to confirm this.

The car comes complete with an additional 385bhp competition-spec 289 cubic inch engine, fitted with period correct Weber’s and competition gearbox, FIA papers and more importantly F. I. V. A. passport, making it ideal for the Tour Auto, and other European events.
