1960 Sunbeam Alpine V8. Fully restored shell, into which was shoehorned a 5 litre Ford V8 with a Tremec 5 speed gearbox.
The engine itself has Flotek alloy heads , roller alloy rockers , Edelbrock performer intake with 4 barrel carb, ceramic coated headers etc. Alloy flywheel. producing around 300 bhp
Gearbox is Tremec 3650 from an early 2000s Mustang, with the really long 5th gear. It has been fully rebuilt
Back axle is ex Reliant Scimitar, redrilled to 4 x 108
Custom stainless exhaust system
Brembo big front disc brake with 4 piston calipers
Big aluminium radiator with electric fans.
Everything works as it should. As you may imagine, this car is a monster, and yet it will drive like a pussy too. On the motorway in 5th gear, 70mph is 2000 rpm.
