Porsche 911 3. 0 Sc Targa 1979 3. 2 conversion .
Sadly selling my 911 due to losing my storage and not wanting to leave it out all winter. Not really sure where to begin as the car has such a lot of history and details to cover.
So I will start with the facts first.
I purchased the car from a friend who had it in his collection for 4 years. We put petrol in a new battery and she fired up straight away.
I live in Dorset and always use Marque 21 at Bridport who are great & honest Porsche specialists. They inspected the car before I undertook any work. This report is available to any serious buyers.
The car has covered 117, 000 miles and I have a clear HPI and mileage report plus many many old Mot's.
If you look at the photos you will see a massive file from all the owners over the years and in its long life has had a lot of money invested into her. The history is extensive and if I wrote down everything on here I would run out of linage.
So I will give you an honest overview then if you're interested then please call me. I am very busy at the moment so it's a call rather than lots of messages please.
She has covered very minimal mileage in the last 10 years, Light bronze metallic, has had an expensive 3. 2 conversion. In 2003 the car underwent a major overhaul incl new OEM wings, new interior refurb, Targa seals & stainless steel exhaust. 10 years ago she had a full metal respray, new brake calliper's all round & a gearbox overhaul 915 spec not G50.
As stated there's a MASSIVE box file of everything over the years that she's had done to her, plus all of the original handbooks / service history and Keys.
Coming right up to date now, she has done next to nothing in 10 years, check DVLA and I bought her with a view that she's a lovely looking rare UK car with great provenance & I would over the coming year have had her refreshed throughout, recover the original seats back to standard, removed the dated alarm system and refreshed and mechanical jobs that needed doing. The car in my opinion was and is worth that investment as she is so Iconic and a great investment.
The report / inspection was a full overhaul and was there all day, Tim @ Marque21 recommends certain jobs and is happy to talk to anyone genuinely interested.
I would consider a sensible priced Motorcycle or motorcycles in part exchange .
