This 1998 Porsche 911 turbo is finished in Arctic Silver over Metropole Blue leather and presents in beautiful, ‘collectible’, condition commensurate with its low mileage of just 34, 000. Having once belonged to a very prominent collection, it has lived a very pampered life which is evidenced by the huge history file that accompanies the car as well as the way it drives, which is faultless.
Its previous owner was fortunate enough to own a number of 993 GT2s and converted this example to two-wheel drive to create a ‘comfortable GT2’, as well as uprating the shock absorbers and springs. To say it drives better than a 4WD example would be an understatement but for those looking to have a standard example, all the original parts accompany the car carefully bubble wrapped and boxed.
Accompanying the car is the leather book pouch and original stamped service record, a huge history file containing a range of paperwork and invoices, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Its service book shows 18 services with stamps and paperwork, with the first 15 services all being carried out by Porsche main dealers and a most recent visit to RPM Technik for a major service and health check less than 500 miles ago earlier this year.
