1967 Morris Minor Convertible
Initially available as a two-door saloon or tourer, the Minor range was expanded to include a four-door saloon from September 1950, a panel van and pick-up truck variants from May 1953 and finally a Traveller, an estate car with a wooden frame, from October 1953. It was the first British car to sell over a million units and is considered a classic example of automotive design.
This 1967 Morris Minor is a lovely example and has been subject to major restoration work.
It starts and runs fantastically and drives even better - we completed a faultless 30 mile trip home ourselves and the car didn't miss a beat.
During the restoration all corrosion was cut out and replaced with fresh metal, meaning it is absolutely solid as a rock, as well as a full respray. The wheels were refurbished and tyres replaced at the same time.
The paint work is nice and shiny and, although not immaculate, in good order. The red leather interior and neutral roof are both brand new and in pristine condition.
The car has been converted to a convertible, although this has been carried out to a very high standard and some would have a job to tell. The V5 states the car as a convertible and there is some history and paperwork included in the sale.
The car is tax and MOT exempt, although we have recently put it through a successful MOT.
