HARTECH FULL ENGINE REBUILD BY PORSCHE ENGINE SPECIALIST in 2015 at 85k (- details above). This effectively takes care of the 996 inherent engine issues. Current mileage, 109k so covered less than 25k since engine rebuild. MOT to 10/ 10/ 24 with no advisories again, manual, 6 Former Keepers. Serviced 3/ 10/ 23.
This 996 was privately owned by a Hartech Director when the full engine rebuild and substantial additional work was carried out in 2015. Some of the work included 6 new nikasil cylinders, IMS bearing, cylinder head overhaul, new clutch and flywheel, oil/ air separator, brake discs & pads, new timing chain & guide rail set, air con condensers & new radiators. Sold to a lady in 2015 at 85k who took up the Hartech maintenance plan (letter on file), paying a monthly premium with no charge for labour for all work over the next 6-7 years-just the cost of parts.
