Here we have 1 of 2 Mk1 Honda S800’s I have for sale.
It belonged to a family member that has now unfortunately gone into a care home. He purchased a pair brand new, one for himself and one for his wife back in 1967, look at the consecutive registrations! This particular one only has 70, 000 miles on the clock and obviously 1 owner. The interior is in very good condition other than the drivers seat that has a small hole (size of a 2p) at the bottom of the seat back. He stored the cars with blankets and sheets over the dash and seats, which is probably why they held up so well.
It’s been off the road since 78 although it was driven round to the local council garages in the late 80s which is where it stayed up until now.
There is no rot on the car just surface rust on the bodywork In places, and the underneath is tidy (for a 55 year old car) so could be used as is or carry out a restoration if that’s for you.
It’s a complete car other than the rear exhaust silencers, they are missing.
The engine turns over freely but I was advised not to start it as they are fragile. All the brakes are free as is the clutch pedal.
I do have a few spares that I’m will to give with the car if it sells for a reasonable price.
It would be great if someone bought them as a pair with the consecutive registrations, a collectors dream perhaps.
