Stunning beautiful and very original Fiat 130 coupe with extensive history, invoices and a beautiful photo album of the partial restoration. Delivered new in Madrid and owned by a car company for many years. After many dry years, the Fiat only came to the Netherlands in 2021. That explains its unique rust-free condition and low mileage. The Madrid registration number was still on the car at the time, great right?
That is why this rare coupé cannot be compared to the average offer on the internet. The car looks, feels and steers quasi like new.
Fiat wanted a premium model in 1970 and they went to great lengths to achieve it. All the big names were pulled out: the design is by Pininfarina, the V6 by Lampredi, ZF power steering, Borg-Warner automatic gearbox and a stunning interior designed by Paolo Martin. So the body was designed and built by Pininfarina and, after all these years, it remains a timelessly beautiful "seventies" beauty. Not French elegant, but Italian sporty and still an impressive appearance. Wide and low and fitted with the widest headlights in the world.
Inside this coupé is a reconditioned 3. 2-litre short-stroke V6 designed by the famous engineer Lampredi. The engine has a sporty character but also plenty of torque at low revs. Furthermore, this 6 cylinder is very reliable and you are treated to a nice sound.

The 130 has also been excellently maintained in recent years, invoices with a total value of €10, 435.- are present from a well-known Fiat specialist including an extensive photo album. A small summary: complete brake overhaul, new wheel bearings, petrol tank replaced with hose and float, new exhaust, new timing belt with water pump, windscreen wiper mechanism, 4 new tyres, etc. The cylinder heads were flattened and after inspection, the engine was found to be in excellent condition, so a total overhaul was not necessary. Besides the major service, the automatic transmission was also flushed and new cooling hoses and Weber's gaskets were replaced. The alternator and starter motor have been overhauled. MOT until 4-2025.
The exterior was professionally repainted in the past in the original colour "Blu metallizzato", which was done very professionally. The result is magnificent and high quality in every detail. The paint simply looks great. This colour combination of blue and beige was Agnelli's favourite, by the way.
The interior is pure Italian class. The original beige velour upholstery is truly stunning and the woodwork is also like new. The dashboard features the original Voxson radio, and that was also designed by Pininfarina! Everything is in one piece and all instruments work as they should including the clock. The attention to detail is great, for example you can open and close the rear side windows with a little lever. The air conditioning cools perfectly, also the electric windows and power steering still work as they should. Nice detail are the new custom-made floor mats.
