Austin 7 Special Tourer, 1932 , This Austin has recently undergone a full body off restoration , where the body was was completely reworked and now comprises a
completely open ‘Tourer’ style body forged in Aluminium with a unique body design with completely flowing front and and rear wings which encase the front
headlights and also the rear wheels making for a much sportier and purposeful look not the usual open bicycle wings that are common on Austin 7’s of this period , I have never seen another body design like it a true one off for sure.
The Austin also retains its original design steel Louvered bonnet with leather fasteners and is finished in the colour of British racing green.
During restoration the Chassis has taken back to bare metal and repainted in
factory black and is totally solid elsewhere everything has been taken care of with the brakes overhauled and then checked along with the four speed gearbox
all working very well making this Tourer a joy to drive. Inside the car it has all its original and clear cluster of dials into a machined aluminium front dashboard and is complete with Aero screens and rear spare wheel fixed onto the boot lid ,
Nicely finished wire wheels painted black and all new tyres, also has a rear panel which lifts out to reveal storage inside the rear of the car . Lovely tan leather sports seats with finish the look of this watch great Austin Tourer .
The car has been Serviced and is ready for the road.
Any questions regarding the Austin just let me know.
