MGF. Virtually a complete restore/ refurb.. 12 MONTHS MOT!!! new hood. New carpets interior, boot and back shelf. Respray. Refurbed original alloys. New aerial. New dash. New instruments and clocks. New battery. Spent over £2700 on engine last year, cam belt, exhaust system, brakes etc etc. Whole engine overhaul getting this car to it best ever condition. All invoices and history of monies spent on it mechanically are present. Total spend on this car well exceeds £6000 over 6 years or so. Runs like a dream.. This was my husbands pride and joy but he passed away beginning of October and sadly never got to enjoy all his hard work. Complete BARGAIN. 28 years old and only done 82k miles.
Please note. There is a couple of scratches on passenger side door which my husband was getting round to and i have noticed slight bubbling above one wheel arch. (I have tried to show in pictures but because of the reflection it isnt very clear) My mechanic has said it was probably the filler they used at the time and that it is not rust as not been out in wet weather for years. Resprayed around 7 years ago and pretty much just been in garage having its makeover. Doesn’t retract from the fact that this is practically a new car.
