This particularly eye catching 1982 Classic 2 door benefits from HISTORIC tax classifiction and is now MOT exempt. Even though she was subject to MOT in March 2021 as part of the UK reg. process as she was personally imported from S. Africa by me, back in "Lockdown" 2020.
The UK NOVA certificate was issued in November 2020 with all taxes and duty being paid in full.
From then, a thorough re-commision has been completed over the last 3 years with work completed including :
- Gearbox rebuild ( new bearings, gaskets and oil )
- New clutch kit
- New clutch slave and master cylinders
- Engine oil and filter
- New spark plugs
- Carburettors rebuilt
- New fuel pump
- All suspension bushes attended to as required
- Rear damper mount conversion to nut not split pin
- New rear leveling damper joint and boot
- Reconditioned steering box
- New power steering hoses
- Fresh power steering fluid
- New track rods and rod ends
- Brake discs and pads replaced
- Expansion tank repaired
- New battery clamp
- Many wiring faults rectified
- Re-engineered various issues as required.
- New 'Range Rover' lettering on boot
- Minor Cosmetics attented to professionally.
- New number plates.
The car is pictured on temporary air filters whilst I track down some (very elusive) new ones for the original air intake system which is included. Finally registered in the UK in August of 2023 I have enjoyed many trips, putting around 1000 "Proving" miles on the clock. (Odometer reads in KM) She turns heads and is an absolute pleasure to drive.
The interior is particularly good, having been all renewed in S. A. The engine pulls beautifully, the steering is precise, and the exhaust, with it's tubular headers, complements the experience with a most pleasing V8 sound track. Underneath, as you can see from the photos, the condition is nothing like you would expect from a UK car. It is in excellent order.

Much of the car remains as it arrived to England, but to be fair. It was pretty good upon arrival, Being subject to considerable prior to her arrivalin the Uk from Capetown.
I have comprehensively and thoroughly inspected and attended to many and indeed , most areas throughout as deemed appropriate and required over the past 3 years. I am now pleased to release her to the next custodian..
Originally she was offered at £36k but the market has declined and to be realistic, I am now offering her as an absolute bargain to her next custodian as new projects beckon. Maybe I have priced her too low but so be it. Compare her with others avaiable.
You know that there are plenty of over priced 2 door classics on offer, and a lot of them are pretty poor condition. This is not one of them. If you want an immediately useable and very impressive example to enjoy, and at an outstanding price, just call me and come and take a look.
The car has attended many shows and venues in 2023 and has started getting out and about in 2024 aslo turning many a head.
