Capots Vintage, a specialist in prestige and classic cars in Lyon, offers you a 1959 MGA. A unique car, it is an evocation of the "Sebring" models, prototypes designed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Completely renovated, it is fitted with an 1800cc engine and is in excellent overall condition, with its cream-coloured bodywork and burgundy leather interior. The complete restoration took two years to complete in 2020, and the car was stripped bare for an A to Z refurbishment, from the chassis down to the mechanics, bodywork and upholstery. The engine was changed for an 1800cc, offering real driving pleasure. In terms of notable improvements, the engine has been replaced by an 1800cc unit, offering real driving pleasure. It is mated to a new 5-speed Ford gearbox. It also features front disc brakes, high-performance electronic ignition and an aluminium radiator. The true 'competition look' is accentuated by the sports windscreen (lower than the original) and the black grille. The car is fitted with 4 chromed spoked wheels with knock-off. Since the complete restoration, our car has covered almost 3, 000 km, allowing us to validate all the elements of the restoration. The car is delivered with its black PVC tonneau cover and an extensive file of photos and invoices attesting to the work carried out. There is no charge.
