I've owned this vehicle for 15 years, selling only because I can't afford to run it anymore and it's wasted just sat. I'd rather it went and was used. Always been reliable and was my daily drive up until February 2023. Been rolled, topped up and started so it's good to go. Original engine and chassis. Engine head rebuilt 2020 with new valves, head gasket and Zenith carburetor strip and rebuild.
New petrol tank and starter 2 years ago.
Passenger front hanger welded previously, drivers side will need attention at some point. Backplate has had welding too.
Undersealed 5 years ago, stainless exhaust installed approx 5 years ago. Tyres are good, plenty left on them, spare is good.
One rear bench seat is now a tool box but original bench seat available. Running a K&N air filter now but I still have the original oil bath filter. Original crank handle present and a small selection of spare parts, gaskets etc available too. I even still have the original tubed rims although the vehicle is now on tubeless.
Great vehicle to drive, steering is tight and well greased, brakes are good, handbrake works!
Has had a reverse lamp, front fogs and a rear work lamp installed.
Deluxe seats inside in great condition, new floor mats, dash is intact.
Bulkhead is good, was repainted when the engine was out for the rebuild.
Original paintwork is marine blue which has a thin layer of hammerite on top... wouldn't take much to remove it. Has a dent on front drivers wing.
Always used as a commuter, shopping and school run vehicle by me, driven with care. I'm very fond of this vehicle and this is a sad sale but it's best he goes somewhere where he'll get driven. Price is firm. This is a really great little vehicle to drive. I really enjoy it. Its noisy, its agricultural, I love it.
It's great to work on and you can lose hours tinkering away.
This vehicle has never let me down, always gets me home. I am going to miss it and I'll probably regret selling it but unfortunately needs must. Whoever buys it will be very happy with it.
All the gears work, in fact everything works. There is a radio unit installed but I don't use it as its such a lovely noise when you're driving, just listening to the engine.
