Although the purists often go for the coupe version of the classic 911, the targa version definitely has its own merits. Time has shown that the targa concept is quite brilliant compared to an open cabriolet. The collapsible roof piece folds and finds its place under the front luggage compartment, and the driver and passenger get the full open-air experience, but without the significant rear drag that often accompanies a drive in an open car. In addition, it produces less wind noise compared to a soft top when closed and seals better against rain. This superb 911 has the rare options of Sportomatic transmission and air conditioning. All matching numbers and colors in the beautiful color combination of gazelle metallic with brown leather. It has been the subject of the most extensive and professional restoration work imaginable. The body, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, interior and every component and nut and bolt on this car has been carefully inspected, measured and either replaced or restored to like new condition. The work was carried out by experienced Porsche staff and completed with a 2, 500km test and tune-up, very low original mileage from new and only 2841km since total refurbishment.
