Engine is very strong, hood could do with replacing hence the price
No 2nd gear or reverse crunch
Good clutch
Steering feels great considering no PS
Has just had a new fuel tank lift pump seal
I have a video of the car on the ramp showing the underbody, the black you can see is under seal and paint, very solid, arches, front and rear
4 brand new tyres
Newly refurbished original alloys in gunmetal grey
New genuine Bosch fuel filter
New Genuine Volkswagen keys now cut
New Set of demister vent trims already clipped in
New brake, clutch and accelerator pedal rubbers
Used genuine windscreen flexible chrome trim
I think it still has the original wipers ( I could be corrected) which looks great on the car so I've replaced new blades
Good clutch and gear changes
No grinding into 2nd or reverse

Car mileage is at 164000, does not sound like it a the engine sounds exceptionally good for a 1985 car
Has had all 4 alloys fully refurbished in gun metal grey and 4 brand new tyres
All exteriors chrome trims, beadings are all intact
Twin GTI headlights with original GTI grille badge and red metal grille trim
Has had a new water pump, cambelt, Bosch fuel filter, alternator belt and various other vacuum pipes, plugs and wiring replaced. Much work has gone into it during the past few months
Oil is very clean and engine bay is very clean bearing in mind it’s a 38 year old car
The roof could do with a replacement which would take a good weekend for a DIY
The seats have had recent full leather re trim which really compliments the Mars red paintwork
It's at a very good price as it needs some work, nothing major
