We have one of the most beautiful sedans of the 70s, a 1972 De Tomaso Deauville with under the hood (with slanted grace) a 5. 8 Ford Cleveland V8 derived from the Pantera. The bodywork of the vehicle is in excellent structural and aesthetic conditions; only a few points of initial oxidation that are easy to restore are recorded. The interior is also basically good, original and never replaced, with normal and physiological imperfections of the time; a tear is found along the driver's seat. Mechanically in full working order, the powerful 5. 8 V8 Ford engine has been regularly maintained in order with various mechanical interventions invoiced: STEERING GEAR OVERHAUL - RESTORATION OF GEARBOX OIL LEAK - IGNITION COIL - AS WELL AS VARIOUS ROUTINE MECHANICAL INTERVENTIONS.
Car deregistered in 1989 and put back into circulation according to ASI guidelines in 1996 together with a light glaze on the bodywork. License plates and registration certificate 1996.
Built by Ghia, the construction quality of the De Tomaso Deauville bodywork is of absolute value, the panels are perfectly aligned and the doors close with millimetric precision even after almost fifty years. The interior finishes are from top-of-the-range cars of the time where you can feel the handcrafting of every detail.
