1956 265 Chevy V8. Rare '56 Power pack heads, '56 4-b intake with Edelbrock 500 carb. K&N filter in oil bath housing.
Mild Crane cam, Pertronix ignitor ignition.
S10 T5 transmission fully rebuilt by gearboxman. com with very little miles on it, Hurst shifter.
Hot Rod Works open drive set-up including wishbone location and torque arm.
Spax gas adjustable shocks all round and front anti-roll bar.
New Lincoln-style Bendix brakes up front, '40 Ford rear.
Mustang dual-circuit master cylinder on '40 Ford pedal box.
Newport Engineering twin speed wipers,
2 New Smithy silencers. I believe this car was imported in the late 90s. Having once been preserved in a museum in Ohio. It was lovingly and sympathetically restored before coming to the UK. It was then owned for 15 years where it was enjoyed and thoroughly maintained. And attended and won many classic events. About 7 years ago it was purchased by the last owner who then decided to do all the work Being a VHRA Club member all the work was carried out to keep it within the boundaries of the club and to a great standard which makes it a truly lovely period hot rod. 2 years ago I purchased it , I love it to bits but have a very genuine reason as to why it has to be sold.
