1986 Austin Mini Mayfair. A very much-loved car having purchased it in 2008 originally and restored it. I then sold it to a guy in Scotland where it sat outside for 11 years. I re-purchased the car and the second restoration was completed in 2021. Sadly, it doesn’t get used and would like to see it driven and enjoyed and personal circumstances adds to reason for sale. Will be featured in an upcoming issue of Mini World magazine, along with our other two Minis.
Photographic records are available from both restorations as well as all parts receipts and other paperwork. It drives beautifully and the engine is very strong having only covered around 3000 miles since the latest rebuild. MoT until April 2025 (will be tax & MoT exempt in a few years!)
Car is totally rust free and bodywork in great condition. The paintwork has a few little marks (not rust!), which I have taken into consideration with the price, given just how much has been done to this car and the rest of the build.
The front spotlights are not being sold with the car, however all wiring will remain and the lamp bar can go with the car.

12G295 'Cooper' head with unleaded valve seats & gas flowed and skimmed to give 10. 3:1 compression ratio.
