Description

This Rover is a project, but it's not a hopeless wreck. It's a sound basis with good mechanics. It has not been on the road for some time, the interior is not brilliant. various small jobs are needed.

The main problem is the wooden framework at the rear of the body. The steel panels are reasonably OK and the chassis seems good.
Repairs have been started and a good result was expected, but I've run out of energy and enthusiasm.

The tyres will hold air well enough to get onto a trailer, but I would not be happy to use them on the road.

Although I've said: 'no major structural issues' the body frame problem might come under this heading - the buyer must use his discretion, but this is not difficult because the problem is visible.

Don't be put off by the low price - I'm trying to be realistic ( I paid a lot more than this for the car!). These Rovers were so well designed and built that they are still useable today. The makers claimed 53 bhp from the ohv engine, and this should be enough to keep up with modern traffic.
