Early 1968 ford escort 1300 deluxe originally from south Africa with all the correct strengthening in place , car is extremely solid and shows minimal repairs in its life , it is fitted with an early 1600 crossflow engine with the Ax block as used in formula ford's, has a 4spd manual gearbox with new clutch , single prop , lotus style 13inch wheels with new uniroyal tyres , seats have been fully restored with correct basket weave vinyl , new headcloth new carpets , original steering wheel , car is early compression strut and drum brakes all round with new shoes and cylinders , car starts and drives great , there is a couple of small dents which will need seeing to but not major dent devil have looked at it and said they could sort them out no problem , car gets plenty of good comments and turns heads everywhere it goesThe period colour stands out and draws attention every time it's out,
