Hi & thanks for looking at my advert for this 1985 Suzuki DR600S barn find project. Please see YouTube video & details below & don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Description: Old school Thumper project. Original UK bike declared new at first registration in January 1985. Has been barn stored since the last MOT expired in August 2018 & is in a neglected state making an ideal candidate for restoration. The VIN & engine numbers are all present, untampered & match those on the HPI report. 20, 639 miles showing on the clocks consistant with GOV. UK MOT history database records from 2010. Only the new keepers part of the V5 logbook is present as pictured. I guarantee in writing a new V5 will be obtained on application to DVLA with a completed V62 form. This is free of charge if the green slip is included with the application. HPI clear with recent report present. The engine starts easily & runs well as shown in the Youtube video link above. The chain & sprockets appear almost new. The tank is dirty inside with old fuel hence the substitute tank used in the video & will certainly need cleaning but doesn't appear rusty. The front brake doesn't work. The only part that appears to be missing is the front sprocket cover as pictured. Strictly sold for spares or repairs without warranty. Make no mistake 1980's Japanese bikes are becoming increasingly collectable and steadily increasing in value making an excellent investment & very worthwhile project .
