1930 Sunbeam Model 9 500cc OHV Twin Port.
First registered 05/ 04/ 1930. At some point a 1931 engine was fitted. The buff log book would suggest before 1950. I have records of extensive engine and gearbox work carried out by Chris Odling in the 2010s. It has an Amac carburettor and larger valves.
It is as the photos show mainly original, but I have replaced the wiring, fitted a rear brake light, the clutch plates, Oil and petrol lines, and the saddle. It starts and rides well, and has competed at the last three Banbury runs.
A deteriorating back problem that I have, is the reason for the sale.
V5 in my name, registered as historic with DVLA.
I have all the original items that I have replaced and have a quite a lot of documentation, manuals etc. that are included in the sale.
I will consider all reasonable offers.
I can deliver the motorcycle if required for fuel costs.
