The car is in very original condition and has been well cared for over its lifetime, I am currently the fourth owner of the car.
Since buying this lovely car we have rebuilt the engine. The engine was re-bored to +20, new pistons, cam followers and push rods all added.
The A+ (unleaded) head was skimmed as part of the rebuild and the engine upgraded with electronic ignition and replacement Accu Spark 4SD distributor. All gaskets were replaced. It is fitted with a large bore exhaust and tuned manifold; this gives the engine a superb sound. The original carburettor is fitted with a pancake air filter.
The clutch was refurbished with new slave and reconditioned master cylinder.
The hoses have been replaced and waterless coolant added. A new heater matrix has been fitted.
The whole outside body has been repainted in original colour.
New poly bushes have been fitted to the front suspension.
The passenger door was replaced and repainted.
The interior is in good original condition with addition of a DAB radio fitted sympathetically into the car, so can be easily removed if not required.
The original wheels have been replaced with alloys and new tyres which add to the look of the car.
It is a sound car that unfortunately needs to find a new home.
