Description
1976 Triumph Stag MK2 Auto, owned by me for nearly 10 years during which time has had much renovation work done.
Comes with V5 , Stag Handbook and Owners Workshop Manual plus quite a thick history file and separate list of work done and when together with quite a lot of spares etc.
Mechanicals:
Original Triumph 3 litre V8 engine and 3 speed automatic gearbox. Engine rebuilt in 2006 at 70, 000 miles. Brakes overhauled in 2015. Differential rebuilt in 2018 by marque expert. New shocks, springs, polybushes, battery and tyres in 2019. Recently replaced the electronic ignition. MOT until August 2025 although not needed and with no advisories.
Exterior:
Plenty of repair work done when I first purchased the car including door-skins, outriggers, floor and rear wing in part. Paintwork and bodyshell in good condition. Note that rear drivers-side wheel arch has been repaired but not perfect.
Blue soft top replaced in 2019 and still in as new condition as hardly used. When used I drive with the top down. Also has a useable hardtop.
Interior:
All interior trim and carpets in good useable condition. Front seats have had new foams. Clock replaced with oil pressure gauge.
Now having difficulty getting in and out of car so it must go as not getting much use.
