A very reluctant sale of a Rover P4 100 2. 6 litre 6 cylinder in a beautiful white and red colour combination by its current owner of 25 years.
It would make a great wedding car.

12 months MOT as of the 09/ 04/ 2025.
The car was recently recommissioned after being dry stored for 15 years - check the mot history vs mileage for proof. It’s just come out of a bodyshop to have two areas of corrosion on the body sorted out, which didn’t affect the mot because they were not remotely structural. The chassis is very clean and unmolested as is the rest of the body.
Recommissioning work carried out:
Old fuel drained and flushed.
Engine oil and filter changed.
Gearbox and diff oil change.
Two new old stock front tyres fitted.
Two new old stock tyres supplied for the rear.
Brakes freed off and the car rolls freely.
The king pins were still full of oil.
The steering box was still full up.
The engine is silky smooth with zero smoke or rattles. You can barely hear it running when at idle speed. It’s like it just rolled off the production line! And the overdrive works on demand.
The interior in general is in good shape, with no repairs to the roof lining, it’s never been painted and is 100% original. The leather has had a good going over with Neatsfoot oil to bring it back to practical life, as advised by the Rover P4 Guild members group.
The chrome work and body is pretty good as per the pictures. She’s literally had a bucket wash and the chrome buffed up by hand taking about an hour in total. The carpets haven’t even been vacuumed. This is almost literally how it was stored 15 years ago, so will come up even better with a bit of elbow grease… which is utter testimony to its previous and current owners.
This Rover P4 is literally a turn key classic that starts on the button every time.
She passed the MOT (the first time), then we took her out on 5 separate town trips in London traffic totalling 36 miles and the car didn’t miss a beat. Now it’s been driven to the bodyshop and back totalling 93 miles I have great confidence this Rover P4 will be a wonderful turn key classic for the next owner that wants to take it to the next level. I will continue driving her on dry days for the sheer fun of it all until she sells.
Please note: This Rover P4 100 is not a concourse example and wants the next owner to take it to new levels, but is in remarkable condition for its age. It has taken minimal effort to get it road worthy and back to the condition it was in before it was dry stored.
The current owner would like the vehicle to go to someone with a dry garage or storage facility. Ideally a Rover enthusiast that can take the car to the next level condition wise.
