1960 Old English white Mk2 Jaguar for sale.
Happy to part exchange for any classic car of lower value.
This car has been my pride and joy for the past 6 years. Its in near concourse condition having been the subject of a full ground up restoration in the mid 1990’s. The restoration reputedly cost £60k, over £120k in todays money. I have receipts for over £24k in the history file.
The rust-free shell was imported and changed to right hand drive. It’s a manual 4 speed with overdrive and POWER STEERING, a new clutch and lightened flywheel were also fitted. Mechanically and bodily it’s in excellent condition, with superb rust-free paint and good chrome. New leather interior, a full length Webasto sunroof and carpets were fitted at the time of the restoration and these all remain in superb condition. The wire wheels are in very good condition with a matching set of nearly new tyres and the car will be sold with a year’s MOT.
The car was once part of the Ken Jones imposing Jaguar collection.
Extensive history file, recent new servo and brake overhaul as well as a full service and only 14k miles since the restoration, the Mk 2 remains in superb overall conditionA superb iconic British sports salon from the 1960's. The Jaguar was the subject of a no expense spared ground up restoration in the mid 1990's. The car remains in superb overall rust free condition and is able to keep up with modern traffic and people love to see it out and about.
