Description
1991 VW Golf GTi MK2 8v 3-door in metallic grey with grey interior.
I have owned the car for two and a half years and during that time I have fitted a new headlining, boot struts, window regulator, front lights, number plates, a gear-linkage kit, centre and rear section exhaust, and BBS RA alloys. The car has been in regular use (usually once or twice a week) covering about 5, 000 miles in my ownership, and I have serviced it twice in this time.
The car has covered 139, 185 miles and has had 3 former keepers. It comes with a folder of paperwork including old MOTs/ service and parts invoices etc dating back to the early 2000’s, and the original book pack including the service book (which shows 10 stamps between 1991 and 2003).
The car runs and drives well, and has been surprisingly reliable for a 34 year-old car. It is not perfect, but I would describe it as a very good, honest example. To my knowledge, the car is almost completely standard, which is quite rare for a MK2 GTi.
