Description
New owner wanted!
After more than 16 years of ownership, I would like to sell my lovely 1994 Toyota GT-four ST205.
The car is an original and verifiable Japanese import from 2008, i. e., it has the 255 hp version of the 3S-GTE engine.
I've owned the car since 2009, meaning it has a German registration and has spent more time standing (always in a dry shed) than driving over the years, which reflects its overall condition.
Due to the ravages of time, there are, of course, authentic signs of use, appropriate for its 31 years of age. But these are within normal limits, see also the photos. A current appraisal from 2025 is also available.
The stated mileage of 169, 621 km is a mix of kilometers and miles, as the car was registered in England for about a year (from 2008-2009) and converted to a mileage odometer there. Accordingly, the car has run approximately 120-130, 000 km.
The car is now over 30 years old and CAN be registered/ driven as a classic car in Germany with a H-approval according to §23 StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations) (€191 tax per year).
In all these years, I have only used the car in the summer or as a fair-weather vehicle. The MOT expired in 2017, meaning the car has been out of service, but it was serviced in 2024. All the brakes (drilled) and pads were replaced, as was the gasket on the exhaust manifold (invoice available). Upon receipt of the fixed price, fresh Toyo Proxes tires will be fitted and a fresh MOT will be carried out.
The installed stainless steel exhaust is not registered. However, an original exhaust (hard to find these days) is included and is part of the offer. More information is available in a personal conversation.
The car was converted in 2011 in Germany to a front-mounted intercooler, header, and downpipe, and at 1. 0 ~ 1. 2 bar of boost pressure, it produces around 320 ~ 355 hp, WITHOUT turbo lag!
Since the car has NO ABS or ESP, it's not a car for beginners. Despite the fact that the car practically clings to the asphalt in corners thanks to the permanent all-wheel drive, you should always know what you're doing.
In the 16 years I've owned it, I've NEVER had a breakdown or a problem with the technology or the (3S-GTE) engine, but it remains an old car with the unique feature that its history is now more important than its engine performance. Due to the rarity of the GT-four, it should be treated accordingly. A classic with a great motorsport history.
There are dozens of pieces of information online about the Toyota GT-four and its use as a legendary rally car.
The car also comes with a large folder full of invoices, as well as an original 1994 Auto-Motor-Sport magazine with all sorts of information and a driving report on the model.
