Lots of history – in 1990’s owner Chris Hunt Cook prepared the car for ‘historic rallying ‘doing a number of Classic Monte Carlo rallies and Rally of Tests.
It has a rebuilt engine (fully lightened and balanced camshaft and high compression pistons. Gas flowed head and Ford type 9 5 speed gearbox. Brakes are fitted with a servo and uprated torsion bar and poly bushed all round. Electric battery cut off. Cibie spotlights. Body finished in Trafalgar blue over grey. Re-enforced sills. Shelsey front seats. Fitted with a larger than standard fuel tank. Minator Alloy wheels (original steel wheels available). Custom-made stainless-steel exhaust. Lots of paperwork. Haven’t had the time to make the most of the car so it needs to go to a good home. Garaged.
