Rebuilt by Stephen D Summerfield in 2009 (Chorley, Lancs). Engine rebuilt by Bannister Engines.
3, 947 cc, 210 BHP + . 020” pistons, hurricane camshaft, Offenhauser dual port manifold, Edelbrock 500cm (4 barrel) carb, Mallory electronic kit, RV8 headers, supersport exhaust, lightened flywheel, facet red top pump, alloy RAD, Rover SD1 5-speed to Vitesse block, Bilstein front + rear, negative camber kit, Wilwood brakes, Goodridge hoses, electric power steering, Minilite + 1” FIA, Toyo tyres, all interior renewed, dash original to car, power kill switch fitted + battery charge point, MGC alloy bonnet, British Motor Heritage certificate. Originally built 1st & 2nd May 1972. Despatched from factory to dealer 4th May 1972. Sold to first owner 16th May 1972.
Looks lovely in Jaguar primrose yellow and the V8 engine sounds fantastic! A real head turner. The electric power steering makes it a much more enjoyable drive. A beautifully presented engine bay also makes it a great show car! Comes with a desirable and valuable registration number too.
