Car finished March 2025, independently valued at £30, 000
The cam and piston rings have been bedded in. The engine has completed less than 200miles since the build and data logged.
Folders with 10’s of £1000’s of receipts.
Photographic history of build.
DVLA notified of engine change and V5 correctly states 1600cc.
Road tax exempt
MOT exempt but comes with 12 months MOT and MOT history back to 2013As you will see from the photographs and backed up by the history folders detailing every new part fitted, this car has been my pride and joy. As a retired mechanical engineer I had always wanted to build a fast Mini so when I found the best solid foundation car I could find, I set about building a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” that kept the beautiful classic looks of the 70’s 1275GT but with modern day performance, reliability and fuel economy. The car is a show winner and would be pride of place on any show field but could equally be used as a track, sprint, hillclimb car quite easily or simply as a reliable everyday alternative to the mundane grey boxes of today’s modern cars. The car has covered less than 200 miles since completion and it really is better than new in every aspect unless of course you’re a purist. My enjoyment is building the cars so I have moved onto a new project. I wish I could keep them all but space does not allow. The 2 previous owners of the car are also classic Mini fanatics who also took great care of the car and kept detailed logs of expenditure and MOT history, all of which is available.
