Description
A California left hand drive car built October 1966 (confirmation from British Motor Heritage Trust).
It was imported to the UK in 2003 (VAT paid) and first registered in the UK in 2018. Right hand drive conversion completed.
Recent works include:
1) 4 New tyres and tracking
2) New rear dampers
3) Electronic ignition
4) New tonneau cover.
Previous owner works include (from 2018 onwards)
1) Coolant hoses
2) Fuel hoses
3) New oil and temperature gauge
4) Brake hoses
5) Radiator
6) Dynamo
7) Front brake callipers.
It does have limited invoices and information available, therefore it is priced appropriately.
It always starts on first turn, handles well and the overdrive works.
It has previously been repainted, which was not perfect. Please see pictures. There are areas of bubbling under the paint, which will need attention in the future. The chassis has been previously waxoyled. I have enjoyed owning the car since 2022. I have a genuine reason for sale as I have too many classic cars and I cannot give the car the attention it needs.
It is the perfect entry level MGB, which runs and handles well. It needs someone to give it time to improve the cosmetic side of the car.
