This car has been in continuous family ownership since 2007, but with a few hundred miles use each year, in sunny weather, and almost £7, 000 spent in the last few years, it needs to go to a new home and better regular driving.
The car benefits from beautiful paintwork and new chrome, head restraints, new full sills, four wings, boot lid etc, (the panel gaps are equal and the doors 'clunk' beautifully) wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel and Burr Walnut dashboard. The MG has a Stainless Steel exhaust and comes complete with a hood, full and half tonneau covers.
We have upgraded the headlights, fitted Maserati Air Horns, fitted a Kenlowe electric-fan, converted the electrics to run off a single 12volt battery, replaced the air cleaners with K&N performance items, upgraded the rear suspension; and installed an Alarm system
It has just received a full service, and MOT’d till July 2026 with certificates back to 1982. Four new Avon ZT7 tyres were fitted less than 500 miles ago, along with refurbished powder-coated “Rostyle” wheels; and the entire braking system of hoses, callipers, wheel cylinders, shoes, pads and a servo were replaced within 700 miles. There is an extensive and comprehensive large history file filed in individual clear plastic pockets over three volumes; with every bill since our ownership began and further details back to 1982, when the car was barely eight-year’s old.
It has an Ivor Searle replacement engine, which starts first time, with excellent oil pressure. 100 miles ago it received a new clutch and fully rebuilt overdrive, (under guarantee still)
