Description
This MG is an original university motors of Piccadilly car, complete with its rare registration and university motors plaque on the dashboard. Being opposite the Ritz, many stars of film and screen in that era would wander across to University motors and try the MG cars. This particular Y type was subject to a full nut and bolt rebuild to period standard specification.
Using all original parts.
It is spotlessly clean inside and out and has not rot or corrosion whatsoever.
It is kept in an insulated garage and only ever used on dry days. These cars are a lovely easy to live with classic with synchro gears and Independent suspension .
Very reliable and cheap to run, they make a great family classic.”
