Lovely summer car!
Everyone smiles and waves at you when you drive by!
I have owned the car for 16 months - drives beautifully.
Rear brake cylinders replaced.
Front disks, callipers and pads are all new.
Electronic ignition installed.
New coil.
New ignition leads.
Full engine service.
Heater box dismantled, leak in heater matrix fixed, new heater diverter valve installed, new heater diverter box and new heater fan installed.
All flexible fuel hoses from tank to carbs replaced with modern ethanol proof fuel line.
Fuel filter installed.
New track rod end.
Rear seat completely renewed.
(Front seats were renewed in 2019)
New battery.
New engine mounts.
Gearbox oil changed.
Diff. Oil changed.
Front and rear trunnions lubricated.
Twin carbs stripped, cleaned and new jets and diaphragms fitted. (Two carbs in bits included for tinkering and spares.) New quarter light rubbers.
Various rubber gaskets replaced.
New rocker gasket.
The car has driven 2000 miles in the last 25 years and during that time large items like water and oil pumps have been replaced.
The hood frame is perfect not sure if new or just kept nice. This is a huge issue with convertible heralds apparently, this one is perfect!
Hood itself is probably in need of replacement.
Gear lever bushing (another problem area) was replaced 2018.
Steering rack gaiters replaced 2024
There’s an original Triumph dealers workshop manual if you want to get your hands dirty.
All electrics work. Apparently not driven in the wet for over a decade.
Currently garaged and I also have a Carcoon available (£350)
