Good usable, early Elan 2+2
I have owned the car for 17 years and used it on a few road trips etc.
It has been sitting in my garage for the last 10 years as not been used. I have started it up regularly and kept moving.
I have recently recommissioned it back on the road.
I have been using for the last few months with no issues.
It has had 5 previous owners and it is an old restoration, I was told early 90’s.
The paint will need doing as the cellulose paint has faded and crazed especially at the back of the car. I have just used it as is since I purchased it.
In the last 3000 miles I have put on new discs, poly-bushes, wheel bearings, Pirelli P3000 tyres, clutch slave and master cylinders.
The interior is in good order, some of the gauges will need attention as not reading as they should.
Engine runs nicely and pulls well in all gears.
A good usable classic which can be updated/ improved while still using it through the summer.
